Become a Library Member

Complete the form below to create a Web Membership.  

A Web Membership allows you to access our online resources instantly. Be sure to take note of your WEB ID which you will be given after completing the form. 

Web Memberships can be upgraded to a full Library Membership by visiting one of our library locations.  

By joining the library, you agree to our Code of Conduct. 

Please note that this form is for new members only. If you already have a Connected Libraries library card, you can reset your password or visit one of our libraries.

Types of Membership

Visit the library and bring a valid form of ID with you.

For a full library membership you must be aged 18+ or have a guardian with you.

A full library membership gives you access to all of our offerings including:

  • Borrow up to 200 items (books, DVDs, magazines and more)
  • Access to our digital items (e-books, e-audio, e-magazines)
  • Access computers, printing, game consoles and WiFi
  • Book into our events
  • Borrow a laptop (members over 15 years old)

Cost: FREE

If you’re under 18 and you don’t have a parent or guardian, you can still sign up for a limited membership. A limited membership has some restrictions on it but you will still be able to:

  • Borrow up to 5 items (books, DVDs, magazines and more)
  • Borrow digital items (e-books, e-audio, e-magazines)
  • Access the computers, game consoles and WiFi
  • Book into our events

Cost: FREE 

You can sign up for a web membership online.

We’ll still need all the usual contact details.

A web membership has some restrictions on it but you’ll still be able to:

Code of Conduct

  • Our libraries are shared spaces where everyone can come together to read, create and learn
  • Respect our staff, and other library members – abuse or harassment will not be tolerated
  • As a child’s guardian you are responsible for the people in your care at all times. Connected Libraries abides by and implements the Victorian Child Safe Standards
  • We love our libraries buzzing, happy noise is welcomed, yelling is not
  • We encourage the expression of culture and the enjoyment of cultural rights of First Nations Peoples and all other cultures
  • Do not engage in sexual activity, inappropriate contact, exposure or any act of lewdness of which is inappropriate in a public space
  • You are responsible for your own belongings

Membership Conditions

  • Membership is free but proof of identity is required
  • You are responsible for all items borrowed on your card or any card held by you as guarantor
  • Please tell us if you change your contact details
  • If you lose your library card, tell us so we can deactivate it
  • Return or renew items by their due date. Lost or damaged items must be paid for
  • Our fees and charges can be found on our website
